Men: Are we willing to Go the Distance for the sake of Jesus Christ? This year's Men of Iron Conference will have us examining ourselves as to our willingness to suffer for the sake of Jesus and reflect upon what is required of us to patiently endure during these times of darkness and trials.

Romans 5:3-4 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

Going the distance will require men in the church to step up and out of the silence that is killing this nation. Men need to lead the church back to the public square and expose and oppose darkness and evil and, in truth and love, courageously stand up for the faith. This one-day conference is designed to equip men with biblical truth and principles to make this stand and to be able to rejoice in any suffering that might come with it. We will also hear of the importance of defending the truth of Scripture, so we can do our best to present ourselves to our almighty God as one who is approved.

What ails this nation are not political problems, they are spiritual problems. And as Believers we are called to do our best to present ourselves to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Join us to band together as Men of Iron to sharpen each other in this daily battle, and to learn how we rightly handle the word of truth.

Vaushawn Johnson

Director of Adult & Teen Challenge, NEW

In 2020, Vaushawn Johnson became the Executive Director and was crucial in establishing the first Adult & Teen Challenge in Northeastern Wisconsin, a pioneering Christ-centered treatment program. Having faced a challenging upbringing and personal battles with addiction, Vaushawn completed the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge recovery program in 2009, which ignited his passion for helping others.

He managed over 140 inmates annually and successfully reduced recidivism through a robust discipleship model.

These transformative experiences have molded him into a humble yet influential Christian leader who guides individuals toward a sober, crime-free, and purpose-driven life in Christ. Vaushawn is also a devoted husband to his wife, Christi, and a loving father to their four children.
